Paper Abstract:
|
Owing to the growing chronic diseases, the home health monitoring systems have experienced increasing use. Indeed, such systems aim to monitor patients from their home comfort, while reducing the health care costs due to the unnecessary hospitalizations. In this paper, we present E-care a home health monitoring platform. This platform aims to monitor patients from their home and to improve their health status. E-care works by collecting patients' data (physiological data and lifestyle data) using medical sensors and electronic questionnaires. Basing on defined medical rules the platform warns medical-staff of potential anomalies in health status evolution and provides personalized recommendations for health status enhancing. |
